    Agreed with Pete64. I was thinking the same thing when first I heard the sweet sounds of Sweet Lou in the broadcast booth last year. He's waiting in the wings. Loved Joe as player, love him as manager. Sweet Lou, however, could take the worst Yankees team "to the steps of City Hall around the time of Halloween." Love the great writing of "sweet Lou" Di Pietro!

    Hello Mr. DiPietro I just want to bring something to the attention of you and others,and this is something to certainly start thinking about because if the Yankees start losing more and more games I could see this actually happening.Back on February 22nd of 2012 the Yankees hired Lou Piniella as a special contributer to the Yes network.I think that this move sent a statement to the team that if Girardi slips bad Piniella will be replacing him as a manager. I know that Lou is up there in years but I think that Piniella is a better manager than Girardi.The Yankees need someone to bring fire to this team and Lou could do just that.
